…Para mí, el arte significa la búsqueda por sostener la belleza de los
significados a pesar del tiempo. Representa un lenguaje que ocupa un
lugar vital en mi persona, un redescubrimiento de lo que soy en
realidad. Es decir, los colores y las formas del espíritu…
Mi historia con la pintura es larga, a veces siento que la conozco de
toda la vida y no logro identificar un momento de descubrimiento
particular. Sin embargo, lo que siempre me ha gustado y enamorado es la
cantidad de recursos y combinaciones que se pueden emplear para dar
forma a los mensajes y significados. Por ello, estoy seguro y convencido
de que seguiré con ella siempre, simplemente porque sin ella no puedo
vivir.
¿Por qué pinto? Pinto como medio de comunicación, como una forma de
expresión que reúne todos mis recursos emocionales al mismo tiempo,
transformándolos en un impulso que es capaz de transmitir conceptos
amplios en lugar de términos aislados. Es un proceso creativo que
consiste en darle salida a mis recuerdos, experiencias interiores y
emociones a través de una obra.
Los temas de mis obras, por tanto, no son una elección ó idea
consciente, sino significados acumulados en mi interior que buscan
permanecer a través de la energía de los colores y de la sensación que
provocan las texturas.
Por ello, podría afirmar sin temor a equivocarme, que lo que más amo de
pintar es el poder mirar y ser parte de la transformación de un lienzo
en blanco, frío y estático, en una pieza que comunica, que es dinámica,
con personalidad y colorido propios.
A menudo me preguntan qué tipo de arte hago; sin embargo, más que hablar
de un estilo artístico determinado, considero que cada artista de manera
un tanto inconsciente, va reuniendo características diversas de cuanto
mira a su alrededor, va acumulando experiencias y vivencias y las va
integrando en sus creaciones a manera de ingredientes en una receta, sin
pensar mucho en apegarse a un movimiento artístico particular. Pero se
podría decir que mi obra es
abstracta por la
propuesta de una nueva realidad distinta a la natural y
expresionista por el
énfasis en la visión interior, en la “expresión”.
En suma, pintar para mí sería como cuando un niño descubre el poder de
sus primeras palabras y comienza a nombrar el mundo, llenándolo de
significados.
En este espacio, quiero compartir mis obras y quiero que sean ellas
mismas las que se presenten, pues finalmente, saben explicar mejor
que yo, lo que he intentado plasmar en estas líneas. ¡Bienvenido!

... For me, art means the search for maintaining the beauty of the
meanings despite the time. Represents a language that occupies a vital
place in me, a rediscovery of what I really am. That means the colors
and shapes of the spirit...
My story with the painting is already long, sometimes I feel I've known
her for a lifetime; I can not identify a specific moment of the
individual discovery. However, what I have always loved is the amount of
resources and combinations that an artist can use to shape the messages
and meanings. For this reason I am sure and convinced that I will follow
this relation with art forever, simply because I can not live without it.
Why do I paint? I paint as a way of communication, as a form of
expression that meets all my emotional resources, transforming them into
an impulse that is capable of transmitting broad concepts instead of
isolated terms. It’s a creative process that consists in expressing all
of my memories, interior experiences and emotions through an art piece.
Therefore the themes of my work are not a choice or conscious ideas;
they are accumulated meanings in me, looking to stay through the power
of colors and the sensation of the textures.
I could say without fear of contradiction, that what I love of paint is
the opportunity to see and be part of the transformation of an empty
canvas, cold and static, in a piece that communicates, that is dynamic,
with personality and colorful.
People often ask me about the kind of my art. However, rather than
speaking of a particular artistic style, I believe that every artist in
a somehow unconscious way, is collecting diverse features of what looks
around, accumulating moments and experiences to integrate them into
their own creations, as ingredients of a recipe, without to much
thinking of being part of a particular artistic movement. But I could
say that my work is abstract for the proposal of a new reality different
from the natural and expressionist because of the emphasis on insight in
the "expression".
To sum up, for me painting is like when a child discovers the power of
his first words and begins to name the world, filling it with meanings.
On this space I want to share my art pieces, which need no presenter
because finally they can explain better than me, what I tried to
